惠妮·休斯頓在1998年11月推出的第4張錄音室專輯《摯愛》在告示牌專輯榜最高成績為第13名，成為她首張無法進入告示牌專輯榜前十名的專輯，所幸它在榜內一共停留了87週，銷售數字亦達四白金[30]，這個成績對於8年沒有出片的惠妮·休斯頓來說，也稍堪安慰。
《摯愛》的首支單曲 "Heartbreak Hotel" 在告示牌單曲榜得到三週第2名。第二支單曲 "It's Not Right But It's Okay" 獲得第4名的成績，銷售為金唱片。第三支和專輯同名單曲 "My Love Is Your Love" 亦取得第4名的佳績，銷售數字更達白金唱片，第四支單曲 "I Learned From The Best" 獲得第27名的成績。《摯愛》接連三支單曲都賣出不錯的成績。
其中 "It's Not Right But It's Okay" 更讓惠妮·休斯頓獲得了第42屆葛萊美獎（Grammy Awards）的「Best Female R&B Vocal Performance」大獎，顯示惠妮·休斯頓的歌迷仍是相當支持她的。不過這也Whitney Houston她最後一次獲得的葛萊美獎（Grammy Awards）。
